Samick Sage Warranty
« on: November 18, 2012, 09:44:00 PM »
I am considering the Samick SAGE in a lighter draw weight than my hunting bow. Does anyone know if it comes with a warranty? I did not see mention of it on the Samick web site. Thanks for any info.

I am not sure about a specific warranty but if you order it from Lanc. Archery, they will take care of you. I bought a Samick deer master from them and after two years noticed that the one limb was slightly off center. I took it back and we figured out it was the alignment pin on the riser. The warranty was only good for one year but they replaced it for no cost.

********* archery replaced a riser that was broken in a press while putting silencers on. they didnt have to but they did. and this was nearly two years after it was bought.if i were going to buy a samick i would consider laccaster archery

I bought a Sage from 3 Rivers.  Liked the bow until the top limb pocket broke while I was drawing the bow.  3 Rivers did warranty the bow, but I would not buy another Sage after that.

Let me know if you're interested in a used one, Greg.  I "upgraded" to a Holm-Made River Runner and have a 45# Sage just decorating some antlers now . ..

I have heard more bad than good about those bows. If I was you, I would buy a good bow, built by an American craftsman.

Thanks for all of the inputs. I am looking for a bow with much lighter draw weight than my 45 pound Martin Dream Catcher so that I can work on technique. This will not be my primary bow. I am thinking in terms of 35 pounds, but some archers say I should go even lighter for working on my form.
