AMS is the way I would go, in my opinion. Mine works great.Didnt like remembering to push the button, or wraping string on the spool type, tried all three.

I have a spool type at the moment and It works fine but I'm sick of winding the line by hand I've been leaning towards the ams pro

Don't waste your money.  I have had nothing but problems with 808 and 888 and muzzy's over the last 10 years.  the only reel that was worth it and lasted was the cheapest, Shakespeare TI10, buy them at famr fleet or walmart for 18.00 dollars

The old 808's were, and are good.
Haven't used the T110.
Don't like the AMS only because of the no drag and if in the trees and windy lots of extra line can be all over.
AMS will allow longer shots.
If tournament fishing the spin cast type are faster for quick shooting.
For occasional fun bowfishing and you don't mind hand playing the larger fish the AMS is probably best.
