Here's my current arrow setup: CX Heritage 150 31.25" with 3: 4" feathers with a 125gr tip. I draw 30" and bow is 50@30. They bareshaft perfect. Just a little nock high. Total arrow weight of 471+/-    9.5gpp. With the CX Heritage 250 I'll be over 11gpp and will have at least a 175gr tip which should give me better penetration

If i add more to the tip of the 150s itll be too weak, that's why im getting the 250s

Susan,
I ordered my PLGA with the old style LAG grip, as I like more of a recurve grip.  I would go with the PLV just because of the bamboo in the core.  I think that it make for a much smoother draw and more snap.  Personal preference, but I like bamboo cores.  of course, if your go with the PLX, you can get the bamboo and exotic veneers.  I happen to really like the PLV color.  You will definately see some performance improvements over the LAG.  At least that is my opinion.
Chris
