I have a RER Arroyo that is 54". I also draw 26". This bow is smooth, fast, and shoots where ya look. Static tips and comfortable grip. I use it for turkey hunting out of my blind.

I love my one piece 54" Bob Lee Hunter Signature that I draw to 28.5" fast and smooth. I also liked my 52" Bear Kodiak Magnum bow.

Shrews for sure are a great way to go! Just shot one of mine again tonight (a 56" Classic Hunter) and am always impressed. Also, look at the short Morrisons (especially with the new Max I limbs) and the Big Jim Thunderchild, both of which I have and like a lot. The Hoots bows look great and receive high praise from owners. Of course, there are others out there that are nice too.

Lost creek makes a really nice short longbow, draws smooth and shoots quiet.

Don't overlook Big Jim's Thunderchild. Not only are they beautiful, but they perform with the best.

I shoot an older 52" Bear Kodiak Magnum 45#, when I need to squeeze in some place. If I were looking for a longbow I'd give Kegan McCabe a call, his R/D Omegas are super performers. I have one of his 66"ers but he makes a shorter one.....
