Question for the rest of you NY'ers

I really want to try shooting waterfowl with my longbow, but the regular reg. booklet doesn't seem to off much info on the licenses needed to take waterfowl, or even the dates one can take them. Can anyone out there tell me what I'll need as far as licenses go, and when the season starts?

A small game license will be sufficient and you'll need to purchase a migratory waterfoul stamp. Check the NY DEC web site for season dates and bag limits. Also check to be sure taking waterfoul with archery equipment is allowed.

You can hunt geese starting Sept. 1st. PM me if you would like to go.
