Man, that is a bad day for sure! Butnow, things can only improve, right?

I would call the bowyer if the bow is not too old and just ask about the warranty. You never know what he might say.

Hope it gets better for ya.

Ouch!!  Good news is someone is enjoying the venison and you've got a good excuse for a new bow. I do hope the warranty will work though.

71# for this pair, Kirk.  These are recurve limbs, not the longbow limbs that I took with me to Australia.  The bowyer that made these limbs has been more than fair with me in the past. I will probably call him to let him know what happened.   I wouldn't expect him to cover them after the dipping, whether it had any contribution or not.

Man, did you insult a gypsy witch or something?

That just wrings the stomach into knots.  Either of them.  Sorry you had the two of the three worst bowhunter occurances at once.

The third?  That would be telling.

Hope your luck improves (and your warranty holds).

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

feeling your pain Pat, lost a doe Friday, after waiting a month and a half to decide to shoot one and passing up over a dozen deer, made a great shot arrow was going right toward the lungs when she lunged forward just before arrow got there.  Waited 8 hours and went back out that evening only to push two bedded deer 200yds down the trail. Almost positive that was the deer I shot.

So sorry to hear about the limb failure as well.  Keep your head up brohammer!
