New SBD.....WOW
« on: November 29, 2012, 05:56:00 PM »
Just put a new 8 strand D10 on my new Slynx and wow what a difference. Quieter, faster, arrows fly perfect. Tried the acrylic puffs from SBD this time also and I think I'm going to really like them. Nocks fit great also.
Those of you that have yet to try these strings are in for a pleasant surprise.
Hey quick turn around too!

Thanks Pierre!

I was shocked beyond all belief a string made that much of a difference until I got one from a friend... Unreal difference...

SBD's are all I use now, my bow just makes a quiet "thup" when I shoot, and it seems that the arrows fly a little faster too.

I replaced the string that came on a recent trade with a SBD and what a difference it made! Before the bow had a lot of vibration and was quite noisy. Now, with an 8 strand SBD and wool puffs, it is quiet and dead in the hand. Really, really great string! Seeing is believing.

I found out a long time ago how good SBD strings are. I also found out that a Cari-Bow just loves SBD strings! I have two Peregrines with a SBD string on it.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]
