Assenheimer contact?
« on: December 05, 2012, 08:57:00 AM »
Hello all,   I have tried both the email and phone # that is on the Assenheimer website but have not been able to reach him or get a response. Is he still actively making bows and if so does anyone have a different contact # for him. I know he had a few health issues a year or so ago but heard he was back in the shop.

Thanks,    Mike

Great bows- Nice one for sale in the classifieds.  You do not see many for sale.  That may be the route you have to go to get one.
To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target

I know Don had a stroke a while back and last I spoke with him he was talking about getting back into making bows, that was last year sometime. I have one I shoot quite often, great all around bow.

I just asked another Bowyer out of Bucyrus, Ed Kincade,if he knew if Don was still building bows. Don lives a few miles from Ed. Anyway he says that both Don and his wife havne't been home for some time and doesn't know where they're staying. And that they both have had some health problems so I'm sure that's taking up their time trying to get better.

Don is in the process of building a bow for me. He called several weeks ago to say that I was next on the list. He told me that it would be about 6 weeks until my bow was completed. I will have to try and contact him tomorrow also.
