?anyone ever built a shooting machine? pics?
« on: December 06, 2012, 06:19:00 PM »
Probably a long shot.......

Anyone ever build a table and set it up so you can 'test shoot' bows --- similar to the shooting machines?  Major challenge i can think woudl be the part that 'grips' the bow. Any pics?

thanks

That is a short 2x4 glued and screwed at 90* to get the bow away from the bench. The velcro is just paddind for the holder for bow handle. The tarp strap keeps bow from flinging off the machine. Crude yet effective!! LOL

Bow stays put very well.

Here are a couple more pics...

There is a fairly simple design that is essentially made of stuff you buy at Home Depot over in the DYI section at archery talk.  Will try to post link. Has its own stand.
Most religions teach that you earn salvation by keeping rules. Jesus didn't teach that "good people" go to heaven. He taught that "forgiven people" go to heaven. And He invited everyone, no matter what their past, to come to Him and be forgiven.

Here is the one I saw. There are others as well. Search shooting machine.

karrow,....

many chronos don't work under fluorescent bulbs.
the bulbs have a flutter to them that the sensor can pick up.

It's a light kit to get good readings indoors, kinda pricey at 30 some bucks for a chunk o cardboard and a bulb!

My site returns to 0 at 10,000 .  It has rolled over several times, can't figure how to make it keep going!

Kenny,  I love your machine.  I think it is perfect.

I wanted to make one for a bit, but thought it too much effort versus how much I would use it and then I didn't know what I would do with it when not in use.

Again - perfect.  Thanks for sharing...

That is why mine clamps to the bench, much easier to hang up out of the way!
