Love the MOAB and agree the 60" is the best length I have tried for the design.  I had a 62" and it was not the same bow.  My 60” has no hand shock, very quiet and very fast.  But, you have to put a good string on them I have found.  The string that comes with them makes them loud and have more vibe. A nice SBD or equal really tames them down.  I have lost track of how many people have commented on how fast and quiet my bow is.

Didn't care for the Mag's I shot as much as the MOAB but never spent a lot of time with one to tune and change out strings. Can’t see where it would be any better in the end other than maybe give me a 2” shorter bow for my draw length.

I had a 66" TS III.  Loved the bow, but a little too light draw and  long for me to travel with and hunt the  way I hunt.  Was fun to shoot targets with and stump shoot.  Not as fast at the MOAB from what I could tell using an equivalent arrow GPP. Traded it for a 62" TS III same weight as my MOAB.  Didn't care for it as well as the 66" or the MOAB.  A 64" could be the best balance for the TS III for me, but I have not found one to shoot.  If I did, It would have to be a TD because I just don’t care for a one piece over 62” for travelling.

I would pick based on the length of bow you like or want.

MOAB.

One of these days I will get around to asking Jim to make me a duplicate of the one I have.  None of my other bows make it out of the house anymore.

I have 2 Moab's and 2 TS III.  I have a 30" draw and prefer the 64"TS III a little better.  Jim is a great guy to work with also.

I have five, no seven of Jim's bows. You don't want a MOAB because you'll spend all your time dragging dead game and hardly any time hunting. The mag and the 3 are OK I guess, but you'll still have to stay up late cleaning deer and hogs. Fortunately he quit making those dang recurves, so you won't have to keep telling folks where you got that bow...

And, he's a well known curmudgeon with nothing but kindness and world renowned customer service and relations to recommend him.

Legolas,
Obviously, call the store if heading that way. They always had them in stock. It's been 6 months or so since I stopped in. I assume they still have some in stock. It's a really nice store. One of the few left that sells real black powder, in case you shoot a flintlock.
