Just discovered this bow design on the net, NEATO!  So cool looking to me.  I saw pics of a few that have been made. Anybody out there ever shoot one?  Own one?  Know a bowyer who'd build one?  I think a Penob/Micmac style Hill bow would be nutso!

I remember someone having a finish it yourself Penobscot kit out a few years ago. Looked sweet.

Primitive Archer magazine has published a good bit of info about those bows over the years.

And I think it was Rudder Bows who offered those kits but I could be wrong.

White Wolf Archery makes a version of this bow. It is the Wind Warrior Max P.

I believe Rudderbows will build this type. Check their website.

About 15 - 20 years ago you use to see a few of them at the big shoot at Denton Hill, PA but I haven't seen one there in a while.

Justin Bailey of St. Albens, Maine was making them about 6 years ago.
