R\\D and carbon ...straight end and wood

I always find myself going back and forth between high R/D longbows and straight end longbows with wood arrows. I know it's been discussed on here many times, but it is always so fun to set up a wood arrow with a broadhead and shoot it through a straight end Hill style bow. After hunting most of the season with a high R\\D bow and a carbon arrow....that wood arrow setup is always so fun and refreshing to go back to. Anyone else find themselves doing this???

You bet! I just got on Dave Dwyer's list for another R/D Dauntless which I'll shoot Heritage shafts out of but I'm picking up another Dwyer Original D bow that I'll shoot Surewoods out of. I love being able to grab a different setup on the whim of the day.

I am trying to convince myself to use carbon for my 45lbs Peregrine Cari-bow. I bought even 36 pcs of Goldtip 1535 Traditional shafts.I still must make arrows out of that. I keep on shooting woodies...... I promised mysled that once they are gone, I will switch over to carbon...
