New Arrows
« on: December 09, 2012, 12:10:00 PM »
Going to buy new arrows and want to try aluminum. Need to know what size I need to try. I am going with Easton game getters. Do I need 500 or 400 spine. I shoot a Samick Sage 50 pound @ 28 in and I pull about 28.5 and would like to go with a 160 to 200 grain head.

Hi,
The Sage has a self that is cut to center. So with aluminums you are looking at 2117's for 160gr points and the arrow cut to 29.5" bop. If you go up to 200gr pts. you'll need to jump up into 2219's. A good compromise might be 2216's.
