Keep being as modest as your parents Ben, they are wonderful people, there is not a person on here that has anything negative too say about them. Your dad has taken the Silvertip bow name to a level of craftsmanship that Paul could not, his work great. Nice shooting on that buck,from the picture your dad looks very proud,and he should be.

Thank you all so much for the nice comments. It was an awesome experience for both of us, I'm sure most of you have been there.
I think he is finally realizing now how fortunate he is.  He's excited to get the shoulder mount done soon.

Dave,

Congratulations on raising a fine young man with a love of traditional bowhunting....and the patience and skills to pull it off.  One day I hope he realizes how extremely lucky he is to have someone with your passion as his father...and having a supply of bows to shoot that are highly respected is a bonus as well.
Take it from someone that had no bowhunters or even muzzleloaders in his family for three generations....having a mentor that is also your father is priceless.

Cherish the moment and the future...
