String For Tiger Shrew
« on: December 11, 2012, 06:19:00 PM »
I have called Ron LaClair 4 times but have not gotten a return call. What is the the proper string for a 54" Tiger Shrew.  I am trying to get this bow back in shooting condition for a friend but I have no idea what it will take.  Can I use a Silent But Deadly string or does it need to be a basic dacron?

Any help?

Cheers,

James

I have a friend with a tiger shrew and I would only use Dacron, the tips are not reinforced.

Ok, what length string do I need to order for him?  The bow is 54".

I have an old shrew,I think I got it the 1st year they made them. I've been shooting it with FF strings for years.
I can't remember for sure, but I think it may have come with one.
Not sure if the Tiger Shrews were any different.
Padded loops work great.
