Will 3rivers laquor work with testors paint or what will work with it thanks.jake

The paints need to be water based, Testors makes all types of paints. I use Whispering Winds paints with gasket lacquer.  Make sure after you crest you spray with water based poly before you dip your final coats or it will smear.

water based acrylics like whispering winds or true north paints work the best.

I put gasket Laq. over Fletch-Laq  cresting Laq. and paint. I have also put it over cap wraps after putting on cresting with RC car paints. It will go over min wax stain also. I looked into the new water based paints but the folks who sell it seem a little pricy for me. I am to heavily vested in good old Laq. products to change anymore.
