The Whip HS is smoother on the draw, it's 50# and the Peregrine is 51# so similar weight at 28". The Whip feels 3-5# lighter! I would say they are equally stable (once I found a string that the Cari-bow liked) and the Peregrine edges out the Whip in speed, ever so slightly.
I tried 3 different strings before I could get the Peregrine to equal the tablemanners of the Whip. I am always shocked at how much a string can make a difference in how a bow performs from stability to being silent. I fear how many "great" bows I have given up on not knowing this pertinent piece of information. The learning curve on traditional archery never ceases to amaze me.
