Asbell Poncho
« on: December 22, 2012, 05:52:00 PM »
i just received my wool poncho from Teresa Asbell. I am truly pleased with the whole experience. I would have taken my picture with it on but they have a pic on their site and G. Fred is better looking than I am. It was a pleasure to talk with Teresa about many subjects. Check out their sight because this poncho will be a hit.

Asbell wool is ace.  I just got the Mackinaw pullover in evening stand green and love the heck out of it.  It was in the 40' and 50's here in FL yesterday all day and I wore it without the mackinaw portion and just a t-shirt underneath and jeans and I was comfortable all day, never cold and never hot.  Love it!

I'm in line for a poncho too. For hunting northern Maine in the snow covered conifers they are perfect.

Good post....I just sat in the woods for 5 hours, 26 degrees and windy. I was thinking about the Asbell Poncho....

Perfect for walking through heavy snow covered brush/trees. You get nailed by falling snow, its easy to take off, shake out and put back on.
