Sweet.  Dan's bows are on my list of bows to try.  Those self-gifts are great, haha I just bought a Strunk selfbow.

At 66 inches it should be very smooth. I think that the last one I had was 66 or 64 inches but it was a lot lighter in draw weight. Might be a little hard in my climber but I don't care. I have not shot my trad gear as hard as I would of liked to over the last couple years. I enjoyed hunting more when I was just trad hunting. Next year I am pledging to myself to have fun and not worry about what some folks thing what a trophy is and get back to how I remember how hunting was fun. Sitting back and being thankful if I see something not if I kill something that is 18 inches wide or 300 inches in antler.

yeah they are great bows. There are quite a few bows in the classified that have tempted me also but I have been wanting another D bow from Dan for a little while. I love shooting them. Even if griped tightly or like a convientional recure they have very little to no hand shock.

I loved my last one that is why I want another one. These bows are great bows. I love that I can shoot these bows and not have the pain in my wrist or elbow from shooting Dan's Dbows. I have shot a lot of different D-bows over the years thanks to Dean Bowling and few from other folks that have had them and the one that I had. I think Dan has a good thing going with his Super D.
