What are some good ideas to reduce bow shine?

Johnson's Paste wax applied heavily and not polished out. It needs to be replentished once in a while but completely reversible by polishing out.
If you want something permanent try some rubbing down with boiled linseed oil and 0000 steel wool. It will put a dull sheen on the bow.

Put some limbskins on it. They work very well and look good too!
