Just wondering whether 2117's (29.5" long) at 28" draw will shoot ok out of this bow? Some say too stiff?

For me it would be close, i would probably have to go with heavy points. 175-200 grain.
Everyone is different though. May be too week for others.

I would guess them to be a little stiff, too, but with some extra point weight they may well shoot just fine. Give them a try and see.
Other than that I would recommend a 29" BOP, 65-69 lb wood with a 160 gr point.

Probably a 2016 would fly a little faster and still be over 500 gr.

Thanks for the replies. I'll give them a try. I currently shoot Zwickey 2 blades 140 grain. I agree that a 2016 may be faster.....prefer not to change if possible. Have a bunny stomp coming up in 2 weeks so I'll give them a go.

Probably a bit stiff with the 2117, and the 2016 would be in the ball park. I love the 2114 for bows of that weight for 29" arrows.

They might shoot very well with a heavy head.
