Dura glove or bear paw speed glove?
«

Hi guys,
Shopping for a new glove. Im currently shooting a Damascus and have a big shot glove. I like both the damascus has a great feel but is a little too thin. And the big shot is a little too thick and has grooved out. I would like to find one in between these two . The two I mentioned I like the looks of but welcome any other recommendations or comments. I do prefer a full palm.
Thanks.

I've been using the Dura-Glove for the last year and really like it, seems to be very durable and gives a nice clean and quiet release. I can't comment on the Bear Paw cuz I've never used one. Hope this helps

I have both and there both built great but I like my dura glove better. The Bear Paw Speed glove leaves too much material in the finger tips and it’s like 1/8” to a 1/4” sticking out pass your fingertips to catch on the sting.

I always used a grizzly glove very similar to the dura-glove, I now use the speed glove. The speed glove is a little heavier than the dura but I for one love it. I tried the dura-Glove after I couldn't get the grizzly any more but never liked it, I have had my speed glove in hard use for over a year now and it shows no sign of giving up the ghost yet.

I had three but now only two bearpaws...One was a leather one with calf hair and the stitching in the finger stalls came out and so did the calf hair..I then ordered two more one being the black one and the other the one with a buffalo stamped on it(leather)..So far this leather one is still o.k. but that black one started to seperate at the seam in the first finger in a few weeks after getting it...Took a few months to get Them from Germany waiting on a container to be delivered I was told..I like them but just wished the seams held up better ...

I've been shooting a speed glove pretty hard for over a year now and it seems to be holding up good.

I have two Dura-Gloves that have seen a bunch of use and they still have a bunch of life left in them. They are not too thin or too thick for my use, which I think really depends on the bow poundage. In general, they are a great glove and the best I have come across thus far.

I wore out a Dura Glove and 3R had them on back order. I ended up buying a Bear Paw Damascus glove and like it a lot. I shoot the Damascus glove currently and it has a great feel and wears well. I just went to a 57lb limb on my TD and I feel it a little more than I think I would if I was shooting the Dura glove. The Dura Glove may be just right. I'm thinking I might get another Dura Glove for just that reason. It is a great glove.

I shot a tab until I tried a Duraglove over a year ago. I found it gave me a good release and is durable as well. I ordered 2 more from 3rivers six months ago to make sure I have one available when I shoot.

I have both and can't say one is better than the other. I know about 2 years ago Bearpaw had a bad batch of the Speed and Black gloves, the stiching was messed up, but they gave me two new gloves. I think I got them from Kustom King.
