Sound of the string Brad Isham
« on: January 11, 2013, 12:27:00 AM »
Hey all,
I am not known as being a big reader and to be honest I usually loose interest in a book after a few chapters! I usually just buy trad books for my collection and I think out of my entire collection I may have actually finished 3 books! I must say this book hooked me in like no other! I picked it up tonight just thinking I would read a few chapters and put it back with the rest but WOW Brad you hit a home run as far as I am concerned! I don't remember the last time I picked up a book and read it cover to cover in one sitting! A must read for anyone! Trad archer or not! I really enjoyed it! And Brad if you read this thank you for a great read and I look forward to your next one!
The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right!!!

I just wanted to BTT this thread.  Brad was kind enough to donate a couple of books which I made sure went to a couple of new bowhunters to keep them interested.  We are currently deployed in Afghanistan and the little things from home make the difference.  I have throughly enjoyed the book and could not put it down...

Thanks again to Brad and his support to us overseas.

I know a guy that has the same name as the main character and I will never be able to look at him the same again.

Be sure to go to the website listed on the last page for the "Afterword".
