Ed, when I spoke with Glenn he did state that Don was hoping to get back to building "some bows" once he was back feeling well.

That would be great. It would be nice to have one custom made from him if he got back to building bows.

My first custom bow was made by Don. His bows are some of the best out there. Hope Don and his wife get back to good health.

Ed I live just south of you in jarratt va. I have had the pleasure of owning 2 assenheimers made for me.They are righties.QUIET AND SMOOTH!The glue lines on my risers are examples of pure craftsmanship. The deer have learned to walk a circle around me. Sorry to hear about his health issues. The idiot who stole your bows ,has no clue.

I have two of Don's bows, they are the best. Hope he and his wife are doing well.

I sold a few of Donnie's bows when I had my trad shop. Back then, not the fastest but were extremely smooth, stable and very pointable. I spent 2 days with Donnie at Denton Hill some years ago and he was a pleasure to be around. I recently heard due to health issues he stopped building bows.
