Kwyk Styk length question
«
on:
January 13, 2013, 10:52:00 PM »
I did a search and didn't see anything on this. I have a 56" Kwyk Styk and I have a 58" on order. Will the riser be the same length or does it increase in length with the overall length?

Hey Jeff,
The riser will be longer, the limbs are the same length for all... Like Silvertips...

Jeff,
Thanks. Will it make much difference then? Not sure it will matter much if I get a 58" bow over the 56"

I have had the 58" and a 60", but I like the 56" the best... But, that is my preference... and my draw is almost 30".

Groggy here can give you some feedback I've had 2. 56 inches
I would think it would draw stiffer with the longer riser vs 56 inch bow
Mass weight would be more with the longer riser as well

Jeff B. has it right, all the length change is in the risers.
As far as the 58 vs. 56"...I can't help there, only shot the 56"ers I own and see no need to shoot anything any longer...I draw 29" and can smoothly draw my bows easily past 30...
That reminds me....I need to get a hold of Jack....

Thanks for all the info guys. My 56" is pretty smooth. I'll probably go with a new 58" and I'll have one of each.

Reminded me too...just packed up my Stealth to send to Jack. Need the weight reduced to 55#....
TG member Jan Brown has a 58" Kwyk Styk, Static limb tips, he draws 29" and the bow is real smooth.
About the risers...what everyone above said....

I own a 56 & a 58"KS I think the 58" draws a little better but not by much, Jack told me that the 58"will cast a arrow a little farther I could not tell the diffrence,, both are great bows,
