juniper limbs and ??? riser
« on: January 24, 2013, 03:16:00 PM »
Been thinking about a new bow.  I love the look of juniper limb veneers, but I can't decide on the handle material...Any ideas?  pics are always appreciated?

I have a Hill Cheetah,it has a cocobola riser with the juniper limbs. They look great together,I think it would look good also with a gaboon ebony or macasser ebony for riser woods.

Here are a couple RER's with juniper limbs - Ginger's bow has a purpleheart riser, mine is osage orange, mesquite and, I think, cocobolo.  I think they both accentuate the cedar really well.

I like the combo, but am biased.

Juniper limbs under clear glass with an accent stripe of Juniper running through the riser and overlays of antler looks great.

I've seen juniper and ER cedar matched with osage and it looks great, esp after the osage ages.
