Saskatchewan hunting?
« on: January 26, 2013, 08:33:00 AM »
I will be headed to Saskatchewan bear hunting this spring (thanks to my loving wife who suprised me with the hunt!). I am wondering if the Cliff Zwickey broad head is legal there. I checked out the huntinting regulations and it states the heads must be 7/8" wide but does not say anything about barbed heads being legal or not. Does anyone know for sure?

Thank you,
Rusty

If it doesn't say it's illegal then you're fine. If you start making calls and asking questions then you'll be looking for trouble.

Just my 2 cents....Ryan

If you send me model and photo I will verify mail to you if Zwickey broad heads would be included as barbed. If you through Prince Albert on the way up, give me a call.

I might suggest that you use a non-barbed zwickey such as the eskimo or delta and avoid any potential problem

Just use one of the zillion great heads that are not questionable and avoid getting on their bad side Canadian Mounted Police.  You don't want that, AH....
