Deer Management Book suggestions
« on: January 27, 2013, 10:37:00 PM »
I'm looking for a book to help out with the piece of land I hunt. Hopefully I can convince the other guys to read it too.

This one was listed first on Amazon:

Quality Whitetails: The Why and How of Quality Deer Management by R. Larry Marchinton and Karl V. Miller

Any thoughts on this book?

Other suggestions?

Thanks.

The two best magazines out there are Traditional Bowhunter and Quality Whitetails, that you get with your membership to QDMA. The magazine is worth the membership price alone. There's no better source for "management" reading than Quality Whitetails.

I haven't heard of QDMA. Thanks, I'll check it out.
