Great Northern Sidekick shoulder quiver

I've got GN bow mount quivers and I really like them but most of my hunting is from treestands and I would like to not have a quiver on the bow cause I like to sit with bow resting on my lap.

So I searched but didn't see any talk about the Sidekick quiver with shoulder straps and was wondering for those that have one or tried one how they liked it?

I have used the Asbell quiver which is the same basic idea.  Love it.  I also don't like to have a quiver on my bow for the same reason.  Just have to plan ahead on how you will hang it while on stand, but that is no big deal. Doubt that I will ever go back to a bow quiver after using this style for a couple years now.

I also use the Asbell quiver and love it.  Same style, you would probably like it as they can be worn a number of different ways.  I guess if I had to pick only one quiver for everything it would be that style even though I really love my back quiver.

 Just started with one this year.  I really liked having the bare bow without a quiver.  Shooting was really enjoyable!  The only thing I didn't like was switching from broadheads to field points or squirrel arrows.  Much simpler with a strap on quiver attached to the bow. But the quiver is SOOOO light, it is like having nothing!

Thanks for the reply guys. I've tried a hip quiver and never cared for it so I think I'll give this quiver  a try.

Take a stick about 20-24" long, 3/4" wide and 3/8" or so thick and attach a strap to it at each end.  You can then put any strap-on bow quiver on it and have yourself a very versatile shoulder quiver using bow quivers that you already own.

You can even attach two bow quivers to the stick.

The Great Northern Sidekick is a good light quiver. I,ve had mine over two years now. Can be worn different ways.... Dave
