Kids Back Quivers
«
on:

I broke my leg at work a couple weeks ago and will be laid up the next 3 months, plus 6-8 months of rehab. Already going stir crazy. I need to get my 6 and 10 year old girls back quivers. I do have some old leather I might try to make a couple for them. Does anyone have a pattern or recommendation on how to even go about it. ??? Thanks, Scott

What I've done for a cheapnbackquiver for my kids is a 1.5" piece of pvc pipe cut 12" long with a cap. Rig a shoulder sling with 1/2" webbing. You can wrap leather around it and they work pretty well.

As Tatonka mentioned, using PVC or if you can fine one, a tube map case, which is lighter in weight. If you search Youtube you'll find a few tutorials on making tube back quivers from PVC. I made a couple for my grandsons and wrapped them with vinyl fabric.

Scale this one down to their size. Knock about 3" off each measurement.

Hi Scott, I have a back quiver kit I got from 3Rivers. I started the project but never got around to finishing it. It can be either right or left hand. I just don't see me getting around to completing it. Maybe you could use it for one of your kids? If so it's yours. Below is a link to the quiver.
If interested send me a PM with your mailing address and I'll send it your way. Hope you have a speedy recovery!
