WOW.... I've just stumbled across this thread!

In reading all the posts and seeing all the pics (all saved on my new puter as I lost all of Bill in a crash ) made me sad as well as laugh out loud at seeing some of the pics. Especially the Idaho hunt.

Bill was as close to a father figure to me as I've ever had, not to mention a mate. I think of him everyday and the hole now left with his departure.

As Glenn said above I too look forward to hunting with him again one day... although I'll pass up with the "short cut" option...  :saywhat:

I'm in the final stages of making his last Dozen arrows. The dozen he was planning to take hunting Grizzly. I'm a man of my word, so there still being made for him. I've written on them..."Natures Gentleman" as thats just what he was. Anyway, one can not hunt all year round with a empty quiver now can he.

 Rest easy mate,

 al.

P.S, "Killer" Kane is still a crap shot...  ;)

My condolences to the family and friends. It's heartwarming to know Bills' living made a difference in others' lives and that he will be remembered by those who matter most. May the peace of God be with them.
God bless,Mudd

Bills Melville Is. hunts have given me inspiration and much enjoyment to read about over these last few years.  He sounds like a gentleman of rare caliber and a true friend to those who were lucky enough to call him-so.

My condolences to Bill's family and friends.
