Two Tracks silencers and headband...the real deal!
« on: February 10, 2013, 07:52:00 PM »
Picked up up some things from Chuck at Two Tracks and with lighting quick speed they were at my door. (Chuck, you are too kind my friend:)

Nice products and service Chucky!

His scallop silencers are the bee's knees!  I had two sets of cat whiskers on my longbow to get it as quiet as I wanted it...one set of string scallops later and my bow was whispering to me...and they look sleek and cool.

Also got my hands on his new ear warmer.
The temps have warmed up around here lately but this weekend it dipped back to freezing...and so it could not have been more handy.  Went out to shoot some arrows and slapped it on...this thing ain't itchy and keeps the ears toasty.
Perfect size for a comfy snug fit.

Just got some of Chuck's silencers too and I concur fully with Jake, they're perfect!

I have one of those vests by next winter.

For you users of Chuck's silencers, do they slow down the bow any, as some silencers do?

I would say not at all...they are so light and small...only like 6 or 7 grains.

Chuck gave me a pair of these silencers at the kazoo show Im gettin antsy to put them on a 59 kodiak im waiting on from bear archery. Chris just finished a hunter vest for me(check's in the mail) looking foward to that but I also picked up a pair of the wool inserts for a pair of hunting boots the bride got me for xmas. 100yr anniversary LL Bean main hunting boots these boot are lite like slippers but not insulated. The wool sole's work perfectly with these boot with a nice pair of heavy wool socks should be great for archery season.

Chuck gave me a pair of his silencers at the Traditional Bowhunter Expo in Kalamazoo. I put them on my new Bear Custom Take Down, the bow is super quiet, and the silencers look good. I like the ability to be able to slide them up and down the string to find just the right spot for them. Thanks Chuck! I think I've found my new go to silencer. I'll be ordering more soon for the rest of my bows.
