What a looker, and, I'm sure, a shooter.  I've had one for about a year, 40 # @ 28" bought from another Tradganger. Wish now I could have a heavier one, too!

Great looking bow.
Have fun with it!

I hear good things about these bows. Anybody have any input as do how a same poundage Super D shoots compared to the Whip? Which is quieter? Thanks.

Hey Bud, I have both bows and the D is just a hair quieter. Both are the quietest bows I've shot bar none. I did have a heavier whip which matched my super D and like I said, the D hair quieter .

The same poundage whip will be a bit faster in cast than the D but the D with no quiver attached , balances perfectly in the hand. It almost feels weightless. I find the whips to not balance in the hand, sans quiver, a well as the D does. The D has a slight bump upon release and a sensitive a my bow arm shoulder is right now, it isn't even a bother. I've shot some D bows that certainly did not agree with my bow arm. This, sometimes, I don't even notice any bump. The D is a natural pointer and I love the grip. It is smaller than any other bow I've owned. I love it.

Way back when I received my first whip, I was shooting a Dwyer dauntless at the same poundage. Having been used to the sound of the dauntless, the first day I shot the whip I was immediately shocked and surprised at how quiet it was. It was in a whole other league of quiet. The two bows are both r/d types but the Toelke uses a very narrow limb that is thicker with multiple bamboo lams. His D bow is the same way.

My current super D is the same length and poundage as two Dwyer originals I had. The D's limbs are narrower than the Dwyers and the Toelke seems a bit faster and definitely quieter. I do love the Dwyers bows also. Both are great bowyers.
