Hidden Hunter Camo pattern?
« on: February 27, 2013, 01:32:00 AM »
Hey guys,
Well Im fed up with my old double bull matrix blind. I got it out this afternoon to practice shooting sitting down for spring turkey and wouldnt ya know it I broke another pole off right at the hub....again. Ive always had to buy and carry extra poles because this thing eats them! So Ive decided to buy a Hidden Hunter. I noticed that they still offer the digital AT pattern. Have any of yall used this pattern? I cant seem to find many pics of it. I love the Predator Fall Grey pattern...but I dont think it will blend good here in the spring woods. Before I place an order I was hoping to get some opinions on the digital pattern and maybe some pics! Thanks a lot.

I dont think they are offering the digital AT anymore, dont see it listed. I do like the new woodland camo for green woods.

Anyway, here is mine in DAT

Thanks Westbrook. Thats what I was looking for.  That camo kind of looks like natgear. They might not carry it anymore. I dont see it on their website now either.....but 3 rivers still shows it in stock? I guess I need to call.

The All Terrain isn't offered anymore. I've got the Predator camo which is great for fall hunting and I got in the new Woodland Green just before Kalamazoo. For spring turkey I'd recommend the Woodland Green. They've lightened the background and the material has a texture which lessens the shine.

Also new this year is the 5'5" model, which is 7 sided and is recommend for up to a 56" bow. The 5X5 is actually 58" high and 58" wide. The 6X6 is 6'3" tall and 6' wide.

I'm also offering an off season special....FREE SHIPPING

Great blinds.  You'll never go back to the center hub blinds.  I have the woodland pattern.  Works great for the spring turkey  woods.

I really like that new material and pattern Ron.
and Free shipping Eh? Hummmmmm.

When I looked at it at Kzoo I was impressed.

I think it would blend well with the Spring woods in TN Adam.

I just ordered one from them and if I am not mistake he told me he had one left in the digital camo but it was the original material and not the new softer material.

Thanks guys. I guess it will be the woodland then. Man I wish they made these in Predator Spring Green! Ron you need to put a word in for some of these! LOL I wonder what the difference  in the material is?  I looked at some Chinese made  blinds they had up at wally world last year, and some of them had a shiny appearance to them. I didnt like that at all. I guess they were made of nylon material.

Hey Ron I'm curious on the window configuration on the new 5'5"  model. Is it similar to the 6x6?

Thanks  Mo

The 6X6 has 6 sides and 6 windows,

3 Vertical    24" X 10"

The 5.5 X 5.5 has 7 sides and 7 windows

3 Vertical,   12" X 18
the dimensions of the 5.5 X 5.5 are 68" X 68" Wt. 16#

Question about the pattern choice for spring turkey: I had always heard / read that turkeys basically ignore the blinds, even if they are plainly visible.  Its the movement that scares them off.  If that's correct, does the camp pattern really matter for spring turkey?

I love my Hidden Hunter blind. I'm looking forward to spring turkey season!

Just got the woodland a couple months ago and like the way it blends in.  Hunted it one time and had deer at 30 yards but not close enough.  One looked at it and acted a little funny but I didn't brush it in.

Really been thinking about a new blind, and these ones look great, but I got a couple questions, has anyone tried the new 5'5 one?? I know Ron says it's recommended for a 56" bow is the actual inside height 65" and how does it hold up in windy conditions,I know in the reviews some say the fabric is loose an kinda flaps in the wind, but I trust tradgangs opinion over some random reviews... Ron,how long are you offering free shipping??
