short longbow recommendations?
« on: February 27, 2013, 11:59:00 PM »
I think I've decided that my next bow will be a short longbow. Something comparable to my K-mag in both length and grip size & style. Can y'all help me out with suggested makes & models?

Call Big Jim or Bob Morrison. I've shot both of those bows and they are nice.

A short longbow.
Is that anything like a long shortbow?
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

Big Jim's Thunderchild if you want ultrashort.  The 58" version is actually seems more like a 54" bow when strung and compared to a more traditional R/D bow.

The Raptor Signature is a great choice also.

The performance of the Raptor Signature and the Thunderchild are very similar.
