 I'd say yours is newer than 80's. I believe they were still being called Kodiak at least through 89.

Here's a pair of '69's.  The top one is mine and the bottom one is my dad's.  His recently got refinished at the bow hospital, it turned out great, just don't have an updated picture yet.
