Shaft selection for new bow.

I'm just getting back into traditional for good and picked up a Toelke #48@28 64" Whip.
I was looking at the XX75 legacy but I am open to everything carbon, aluminum, and wood. Local shop has some Axis traditional arrows but I don't know about them.
Whith my draw I will be closer to #50.
What do you guys suggest for shafts and spine?

Just as a starting point, it sounds like we have a similar draw length. I have a 49#@28" RER Retro that's probably just a bit heavier draw than yours as it's only 58". Mine likes 2117's 30.5" and 145 gr up front. It also likes 3555's with 175 points. Might be a starting point for you and you can add weight as necessary to the point to get it where you want it.

If you draw 29"s than a 30" 35/55 or .500 spine carbon with 175-200 grains should be about perfect. With the insert and 175 grain point you will be about 190 grains up front and that should be darn close. The Axis in .500 spine cut to 30"s will be about the same you may get away with a bit less point weight due to the diameter being a tad smaller but doubt it would make much of a difference. With all the way to increase point weight today, I would decide on a length you want to shoot and than find the point weight the set-up likes. Shawn

Thanks guys! I will work that out and let you know what I go with. I also downloaded the Stu Miller calculator that seems pretty handy.
