Serving size on B50 Flemish string.

Just wondering what size serving you folks use when you make your own flemish strings.  Is the serving supposed to be a different size when doing the loops as opposed to the center?

On a Flemish string only the center gets, served.
I like a really tough serving that will wear a long time.

The,size depends on your nock size and the number of strands in the bundle.
The goal is a nock fit that is just tight enough. I start my center serving and then check with my arrow if too loose I,add a,couple of filler strands and then finish serving.

I had a bit of a memory lapse, I meant an endless loop.  I'm guessing its the same.  Thanks macbow I'll do that when I attempt to serve it.

16 strands B50 with a #4 nylon serving makes a great fit with 5/16 or 11/32 Bohning Classics or Mercury Index nocks.

Depends on the strand count and nock type.  I use the size serving that fits the type nock I'm serving for.  BCY has Halo and 62XS serving in several different sizes to fit any nock type/size.

I use .021" diameter serving thread for most of my 14-strand flemish strings. That gives me a snug fit for the Bohning index nocks I use.
