Anyone using a Hazmore seat on your Lone Wolf?
« on: March 12, 2013, 12:17:00 PM »
If so, how do you like it?  I'm a big guy and my sit and climb seat is a little narrow if you know what I mean.  It looks like you might get a couple more inches in width with the Hazmore.  Thanks, Eric.

I purchased one this season for my LW.  It is OK but not as great as I thought it might be.  I have found you have to tilt the seat down for it to be comfortable.  Have not played around with rerigging the seat to see if this might help.  Overall better than the stock seat but not exactly all I thought it would be after using a few times.

Not a hazmore, but similar: a replacement net seat for an Ol-Man stand on my LW upper-$20.

Took my upper apart, slid it over the arms like you're thinking.  Don't let it sag, but you can use some paracord to "weave" through some loops to tighten it up some, not too much. Comfy, but if arms pointed up (not level), front webbing will cut into legs after a while. Simply adjust tree belt to lower arms.  For LONG sits add a THIN air or foam pad on top.

I have one on my Lone Wolf wide sit and climb and I love it.  Like others said adjust the bars to level or angled down just a little when you get to your height.  It is also much more quiet than the factory seat.  The only stand I have used that is more comfortable than this is the Ol'Man climber.

I bought one last year for my Lone Wolf Sit & Climb. I like it much better than the original seat. Like others have said you might have to tilt the front part of the seat down a little. I did that with mine. It works for me.

Bought one for my Summit last season. Used it once and put the old seat back on. I found it pretty uncomfortable.

Thanks guys.  The price seems pretty reasonable, I think I'm gonna order one and try it out.  Eric.

Will it work on a LW hand climber model,  not the sit and climb??

I don't believe it's designed to work on the hand climber model.  It looks like it replaces the cushion seat and straps on sit and climb stands.
