i have a asbell era 62" bighorn recurve that i bought new back in the early-mid 80's messed up and sold it, and was lucky to be able to buy it back, i just dont remember the best average brace for it? and am pretty sure its dacron string only,is that correct? kinda neat having my old bow back, i hope to hunt with it again this fall, i killed alot of stuff with it back in the day, before i knew we had to have fast flight and ultra fast bows...

Dave
start at 7 inches, all my BH were within an 1/8 of that.
yes stay with b-50 string, it will shoot just fine, the last thing you want to do is blow it up after all you went through to get it back.
they are shooters 62 were my favorites still have several

The brace on these is measured to the back of the sight window if I remember correctly.
