The hood on my Hoyt quiver don't come close to covering my broadheads it looks a little unsafe with all those sharp edges. Has anyone else seen this? It looks like it was made to cover 100 grain 4 blade bh's.

I thought about buying one of those quivers. I brought one of my Woodsman Elite tipped arrows to the shop to see how they fit. Not even close. I ended up buying a Tightspot quiver for my Dorado instead.

How did you mount it?

I used the sight bushings. If you own a Buffalo this isn't a option. If that is the case you should consider a strap-on or limb bolt mount quiver. An EFA or Kanati quiver would be an excellent option.

I have heard the same complaints about that quiver with traditional style heads. I thought about purchasing either a Hoyt dorado or a buffalo. If I did I would use my great northern quick detach. Great northers makes adapters for both ILF. And the buffalo. I'm thinking Hoyt will improve the quiver for next year. If not I'm sure any other Hoyt 2 piece or even a fuse would work. Easton's new 2 piece to one piece would work too. Or you could go with a non bow option too.
