String?
« on: March 17, 2013, 09:27:00 AM »
Is Dynaflight 10 what is referred to as D10? I see a lot of guys using 8 to 10 strands and padding the loops. Do I pad the serving or double serve it to fit the nock?

Thanks
Cory

Padding will result in a more even and stable serving job. Either pad with additional strands or tightly wrap with some teflon pipe thread tape to the desired thickness and serve over it.
Lefties are the only ones who hold the bow in the right hand.

On an 8 strand D10, I double serve. First with .017, then serve in the opposite direction with .021.

Cory, AS builds a great string, there's also a fairly new material out SX2, give Allen a shout, you wont be sorry. If nothing else, order one of his strings, and if you still want to make your own, just copy his. cant go wrong that way

Heartland.  Yes, Dynaflite 10 is D-10.  You can pad the serving area or double serve, depending on which you like to do.

Hi Allen, I believe you are running out of D10. Which is the next best string in terms of performance and creep? Do you make a 10 strand string? How about endless loop? I am thinking of ways too minimize creep on my next string.

Jimmy, if you are looking for the absolute minimum creep in a string, I would suggest Ultra Cam. Even the 8 strand UC strings are very solid!

Yes, I will built a 10 strand, or whatever you desire.
