Got rid of my "hooter shooter" when I quit shooting wheel bows nearly 3 years ago. First, I figured I did not need it anymore, and second, I can build something better.
Well, even though I have no intention of going back to a wheel bow, I still feel the need to have another draw board/shooting machine.
I have pretty much finished up my plans for a new machine, but I am stumped in one area…..getting a machine to fire a compound bow is easy, but replicating a split finger or 3 under release is a different story. I need idea`s on how to modify a mechanical release in order to mimic 3 fingers on the string???
I know this is way outside the normal area of experience for traditional archers, but I bet at least a couple of guys here can think of something to try out.
Thanks…….
