Brace height for a York Crest and Bear Polar
« on: March 20, 2013, 05:38:00 PM »
I recently picked up a York Crest 66" 25# @ 28, can someone advise me on the brace height, the old is prob from the 1960"s. With the string it comes with when shot., major hand shock.. Thank you in advance for any info..

Same thing with the Bear Polar 66# 35#, both are bows have straight limbs and no twists or cracks, getting these bows ready for my wife and son.
Hummingbird Kingfisher 48# 62"
Black Widow PSA X 53# 60"
Mon River mongoose 48# 64"
Toelke Whip Classic 48# 64"
Abbott Longbow 47# 58"

My Polar shoots best at 8"s and I believe between 7.5-8.5"s you willfind a sweet spot. Shawn
