Has anyone tried the new kid on the block as far as arrow shafts go?  What do you think of them?

I am running the victory .400 breast cancer pink.
I love them. #48 @ 28"  cut to 29.5" reg. Bushing with 150 gr. point. 435 gr. Total, shy of 9gpp.
I tried wraps and spray paint. Now I can buy pink and I just love me the pink things.
Holding up better than some. If you miss a target and cant find an arrow it drives your cost up on a black doz. With pink you will find it 3 out 4 times.
Im going to buy 4 doz. As I have seen shafts come and go.

Quite fond of the Victory VForce HV's..

Full length-wise penetration on a doe utilizing 400 up front and a 51# bow - arrow merely weighted 611 gns.

This turkey season -Victory VForve HV 350 with 332 up front... weight 543 gns. Will likely utilize HV's for next March's NZ hunt.

I am also quite fond of Gold Tips, Bemans and AD Trads, however the HV's allow me much more latitude. My propensity to experiment is easily satisfied when utilizing the HV's. Wasn't too long ago when someone may comment that they took two years to develop a specific arrow design which today could be achieved in short order utilizing the HV's.

The only bareshaft to bareshaft robinhood I have achieved was with an HV, of course the stars were aligned.

Ive been shooting the VAP's some. Micro skinny but great flight. The inserts are the only down side to this shaft. (1/2 in 1/2 out) I heard that firenock was making a better insert for this shaft.

I've had good luck with the Victory VAP's as well.  Penetrate like crazy and easy to get high FOC with reasonable gpi.

Playing around with footings now to make them even tougher.

How durable do they seem to be? I have become a big believer in micro diameter full metal jackets which are close to indestructible. I have robin hooded three of them, cut a inch and a half off the back refletched and and back in business.  considering some victorys now with all the good comments

Jon,  I used the 350s on my Africa hunt last year. They are very good shafts if your trying to get a high FOC, I had complete penetration on every animal with some Grizzly 200s up front.    RW

I have over 3 dozen of the Victory VAP Shafts and I use the 90 grain stainless inserts with a 200 grain head. Strongest shafts I have tried yet & that's including when I used the compound bow. Very good shafts. P.S. you can get the V6 shafts on the bay for around $65 a dozen.. not bad
