Shafting and Nocks
« on: March 26, 2013, 06:22:00 PM »
What is the down side to putting 5/16" nocks on larger aluminum shafts?  I have a bunch of old glue-on 5/16" nocks and would use them on some 2419 shafts... but don't want to get into any trouble.

Any counsel from you experienced guys?

[Mods, I looked around for a forum for this, and didn't see one.  I won't take it personally if this gets deleted...!]
Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.

Those are quite small for a fat shaft, that said it should not hurt a thing. I have shot pin nocks off large shafts. The only problem may be putting pressure on the nock if you shoot 3 under. I always use smaller nocks on my woodies. I use 5/16ths. on 11/32nds. and 23/64ths. woodies.  Shawn
