After dinner shootin',
« on: March 31, 2013, 03:56:00 PM »
After Easter dinner,my daughter wanted to shoot her bow. I couldn't have got mine to full draw, that last piece of chocolate cream pie did me in! She's shooting her longbow pretty good now. Here's "Beans" happy with the group she shot.

She's not old enough to have her own bird yet,but she's been helping me with them since she was just a little peanut. She's an A+ bunny flusher when we go out hunting! She does have a little flock of tumbler pigeons that she flys though. I'm really hoping she sticks with the bows and birds as she gets older.I'll be a VERY,VERY Happy man if we can do both together as we get older.

Way cool!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Thanks guys. Curt,I show her all of Cade's posts/pics.You're a lucky man to have a kid like him,but that just speaks of the job you did raising him.Beans is mad she has to wait until she's 12 to get her hunting license! I'm taking her turkey hunting this year. She's been practicing on a box call my buddy built since last year. Plan is she calls and I shoot.I hope we can pull it off. By the way her real name is Julia. We called her Julie beans as a baby,it stuck and now everyone just calls her Beans.
