I am getting ready to take a long roadtrip in the Southwest.
Do any of you have suggestions on how to protect my bows and keep them from over heating while they are in the back of the van?

Keep them unstrung and try to park in the shade.

I have been known to wrap mine up in a big fleece blanket...a blanket can insulate from both heat and cold
