Definitely not a wasted trip
« on: April 12, 2013, 11:24:00 AM »
Ok, so I flubbed the shot on the 9"+ beard which would have been my first turkey, putting a hole in the roof of the blind with my upper limb.  But it was worth the 5 hours each way just to pick up a new-to-me PSA V from my brother-in-law.  (Thanks Thomas!)  Methinks at least one of you might recognize this one.   ;)

Easily the best shooter I've had my hands on, and now I own it.  I've read numerous posts regarding Widows but until I tried this thing out in December (and couldn't stop thinking about it) I didn't understand what the hype was.  Now I know better.  From the second shot in the back yard last week, I knew this was the bow for me.  I'm pretty sure the spider medallion has some new smart chip technology that reads my mind and automatically aims for me.  Ok, so it couldn't compensate for a low-hanging blind roof, but I don't fault it for that.  I know it's not my ability that makes my arrows connect with such precision.  There's gotta be some magic in this thing, right?

Yep ... if I'm having issues with my shooting I grab my PCH and I'm hit'n the mark again. Sure is my go to bow.

same with my PSA  i just cant concentrate on any other bow because i keep coming back to my widow, not sure why i even mess with any others  but i cannot imagine a better hunting bow than my PSA. it just drills...gives me confidence and that makes me a better shot for sure

Congrats on the new bow!

I've had an On again / Off again love affair with the Black Widow Recurve for years... Right now we are "On again..."  The darn things almost shoot themselves!
