Predator camo question???
« on: April 14, 2013, 05:58:00 PM »
Gidday guys,I'm heading away on a hunt in July and was wanting to buy a set of Green Deception predator camo clothes.
My question is does anyone know were I could find some GD fabric to make a face veil and bandana? I couldn't  find any on there website.
Just out of interest are there any sponsors here that sell predator clothes??? I would prefer supporting them first.
Cheers guys

St Joe River Bows is a Predator dealer.  They are a sponsor here.  I'll bet they can hook you up .

Rockywoods has some nylon taffeta predator green, but I don't think this is the type of fabric you want  link .

Here is a  link  to a nice list of outdoor fabric suppliers.

Although I have a feeling that if you are short on time that trying to get some scrap fabric from a sponsor/manufacturer would be best.  Gray wolf woolens is a sponsor and they make gear with predator green.  Their wolfskin material would make a nice bandana.  I have found it to be a very difficult camo pattern to find fabric in, generally speaking.

I just remembered a company that will do custom printing and it is in NZ,  check them out and maybe they can help you.

they are phasing out the Predator green pattern (or at least one of the green patterns). i bought a vest at Tannehill from St. Joe River's booth, and got it for half price.

was told that particular green was on the way out. might want to hurry.

Love the Predator line of camo... Really suits close in bowhunting. I myself torn up an old long sleeved t shirt of there's that had a rip in it and made mine outa that. Not the best option I know but worked for me.

Where abouts you off on your hunt Moose?

Cheers,

I'm heading to Stewart Island Kidner, There are Whitetail down there that I havnt had the pleasure of getting really close to. I only wear ASAT camo and I do love that camo for open tops and beech forrest. However the podacarp forrest that I mostly hunt isnt suited to ASAT camo. Was hoping to get there Cotten long sleeve shirt and cotton pants in GD. I might have to put it on hold maybe because my parnter and I are heading to Hawaii in June.
